Description
Casa da Piedade is an independent part of a rural house and is ideal for families and groups up to four people.
The accommodation is 80 m2 and comprises two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom and a sunny balcony with a wide view to the ocean and agricultural land. There is also an outdoor parking area.
It is equipped with a fridge, washing machine, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, TV with international and children’s channels, and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.
LOCATION
The property is in a rural area near the village of Ponta do Sol, where there is a beach and some restaurants and cafes.
Ponta do Sol is located in the southwestern part of the island, which has the best weather conditions in Madeira.
A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.
The property has access to major roads, but some roads are narrow and are suitable for small and medium sized vehicles.
REMARKS
We are available to provide support during your stay, to recommend places and activities you may like and to find solutions for your needs. We can recommend activities to discover the island off the usual tourist circuits.
A car is recommended to this location.
Guests have access to the upper floor of the house. The ground floor is reserved to the owner.
The accommodation and balcony are for the exclusive use of guests and these spaces are not shared with other users.
Cleaning is done before guests check in and then there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels. To increase the frequency, an additional cleaning service must be requested.
As it is a rural area, there is potential for noise caused by dogs and other domestic animals in neighbouring properties. There are also insects in the surroundings that can be attracted by food scraps.
The accommodation is officially registered, meets the requirements to ensure safety and comfort, and has a complaints book controlled by the competent authorities.
CONDITIONS
1. Parties or behaviours that disturb the peace and well-being of the neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am when noise is forbidden.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential information for check-in and mandatory identification data of all foreign guests. This form has to be filled and submitted by the guest at least two days before arrival.
3. Guests must agree the check-in time at least two days before arrival. The waiting time for check-in is 60 minutes after the agreed time. After 60 minutes from the agreed time, a new time can be agreed according to our availability.
4. Guests must present identification document upon arrival and to fill an identification form if needed to comply with legal requirements.

A wonderful stay in rural Madeira

The location is great for a relaxing vacation, away from all the tourists. The house was very big, with all the needed amenities and modern equipment. It also includes a free parking space, two bedrooms, a huge kitchen, two toilets, and a lovely terrsee more

It also includes a free parking space, two bedrooms, a huge kitchen, two toilets, and a lovely terrace. Balbina, the host, was also very nice and helpful. She immediately responded to all the Whatsapp messages and was very kind. If we ever visit Madeira again, we are certainly coming back to this location.
